I'm actually warming up to this bow thanks to some candid remarks about it. Yeah the thing is heavy, but if you throw a Crank on some of the other models, they get heavy too. I'm interested in actual performance numbers from it by users, and the maintenance side of things like cooking rope that requires service from the shop. In about six months we'll have some data to crunch and who knows what the reviews will do for sales. I'm not one to say"never".
Maybe the price will come down some as well, new stuff on the market always fetches top $$.
I believe it was 700 shots reccomened for crank string. I have been wrong before..... once
We were told that 700 is a conservative number and I'm guessing there is a large safety factor there.

Don, do you know what is involved with changing it out, and do you think users will be damaging their bow trying to figure it out? Just curious, and I know that is a tough question to answer. Seems to me that might be a big factor for some having to take it in or send it out for service.

First off, they plan on making the price of the service reasonable. I haven't taken one apart but I don't see how you or I would be too inept to replace it ourselves. I have a feeling our jobs will make this a snap to replace the string. I do not speak for Excalibur and they certainly did not give me this info or permission to say what I said.

Much appreciated. I'm going to go check one out in the spring when they're available locally. I imagine if this model becomes a hit higher and lower speed models in the same family. Lots of folks like it all in one package.

I'm pretty sure Dons Assasin is being shipped in pieces. If you can build it you can shoot it kind of test 😆

It's not wide. Micro limbs.
This is a bow you have to shoulder and shoot to appreciate.
Awesome, did not know that.

Like this a lot

Available now shipping in one day from a seller on eBay, Hudson, Wisconsin. There are two other sellers that have hiked the price up!

Does anyone know....
The integrated cocking is nice but (if) say it ever broke in the field, could a regular standard rope/pulley be used instead to cock it?

Finally arrived😃. Being my first crossbow I have to say it’s pretty sweet. I only took two shots out of it so far but I think it’s gonna be the PERFECT yes PERFECT crossbow for ME. I have a totally destroyed right arm with plates, screws and an artificial radial head so the cocking feature was a really big deal to me. Also the way this crossbow adjust to fit my long arms is truly ideal. The weight of this bow Balances Fantastic in fact all the TEN POINT carbon phantom seemed to be way more front end heavy where this bow is not. Now for what I don’t like, I really prefer the quiver on the micro Suppressor better where you can slide it up further and out of the way, also sticking out of the crank was about an inch of excess rope which I didn’t like so after a slight trim job and some super glue so it won’t fray(lighter didn’t work, not that kind of rope) all was well. The trigger is SWEET, it isn’t like my jewell trigger on my 6ppc but man it’s really nice. I must say if I was a total spot and stalk kinda Hunter I imagine this wouldn’t appeal as much to those guys like the Suppressor would. I am a stand hunter so this will be perfect for me, either carry it to the stand or in the tenzing shooters pack😃. I will say this fit me way better then the micro Suppressor did and only time will tell before you can truly say they hit a homerun with this or not. Is it for EVERYONE probably not but for Me and what I need I feel it’s the perfect crossbow for ME😃
