A cool product at the ATA, Hypnose clothing

Post by Boo »

I bumped into a very cool base layer at the ATA. The owner gave Newbie and I a demo. He poured about half a teaspoon on the fabric and started to talk about how it was made (short talk). While talking he flipped the fabric onto his hand. After less than a minute he turned it around and you could see the water disperse (a dark spot), then he flipped it over again and the dark spot where he put the water was gone! Then he placed that side that he put the water on the back of my hand and it was dry! Very cool! Should be great for cool/cold weather hunting! Newbie and I both bought some clothing

it truly is amazing to see and feel how fast it wicks water away from you. Their thin layers will actually cool you down. I bought warm and cool weather hats and the two piece face mask in camo for Turkey hunting.
Everyone should check this product out.
Too bad they didn't have the pink camo base layer in Don's size he had to settle for black

I bet the face hood would be awesome to have !

fabric that cools you down --great for any mid fall hunting seasons

Sounds like the ATA show was a lot of fun to go tooo!

we have a outdooorsman expo here each yr. - it's gotten way to commercialised over the yrs. and moved away from a real outdoorsman/ hunting show

Looks and sounds from their descriptions a hell of a lot like re-branded hockey gear

Been wearing it for years...

I've had a number of types of layers that helped keep you dry and warm, some with tiny sliver bands to keep down bacterial growth to keep smell down. This stuff has a silver core. It is designed to work as a single layer, so you don't buy base and other layers and apparently will not mis-shape like some materials that I've used. Probably the best I've used prior is Chlorofibre. It kept me warm and dry but it eventually lost it's shape, pilled like crazy and had no bacterial control. It's really quite stretchy (lycra) as well so it conforms to you body, so well that it reminds me that I'm 64

Yes, but modified at a molecular level (chemically).

I looked at the above site, & seems hard to me to find which is for COLD & which for WARM weather hunting, maybe it's because I'm south of the border!
I'll say I didn't spend along time going over each the items.

Perhaps you're reading too quickly, the first line says either heavy weight, medium weight or light weight.

Face mask is a mandatory part for the my outfit. More recently I use a KLOAK Camouflage Hunting Cap. In general, about this mask I learned from this review article https://under-the-open-sky.com/best-hunting-masks/. There I decided whith my choice.
