Dead zone scope question

Post by hankenhunter »

When you sight in a deadzone does it work the same as a Varizone? Sight in at twenty, adjust speed dial at 40 yds and the rest of the chevrons are sighted in? Thanks.

Set speed dial to approximate speed.

Sight in at 20.

Then move to 40 and aim at a point at top of target using the 20 yd mark.

Now look thru the scope and place your 20 at the the top aiming point and then adjust your speed dial until the 40yrd marker is on the arrow you just shot.

That is how I always do it.

Thanks Sparkey! I was wondering because of the extra chevron.

Once dialed in at the 40, you can always move back to 60 or further to fine tune the dial. Sighting in and practicing at the longer yardages makes the close shots even more accurate.

I have mine sighted in at 20 Have not been able to shoot any farther yet ( weather ) But I was also wondering about the chevrons . The 40 and 50 don't appear to have a wider gap between them like the tac zone does. Or my eyes can't see it .
