Well done Nog it is a beautiful pelt that you should be proud to have, thanks for sharing how you got him, and yes makes for a great picture back drop or wall hanging and one exciting day I bet, the proof is on the wall.IronNoggin wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2018 5:02 pmI really do not know what the camo pattern was on those older ExoMax bows?gerald strine wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2018 7:32 pmNice bow what is the camo pattern.
Sweet wolverine pelt did you take him with your Exomax ?
The wolverine was shot with a 22 caliber pistol, and at about 3 feet.
Had a Carry Permit (Biologist) in those days, and simply happened to have the pistol in a pocket of my snowmobile suit.
Wolverine was coming down from the hills to raid the cabins on a long point off the Yukon that sticks out into the Beaufort Sea.
When he saw me, he snarled, then charged.
Damn happy I had the little pocket gun!
Even happier the first shot took him in the forehead!
Made a nice backdrop for that bow...
Cheers,
Nog
