I'm not sure who in my family drew an elk tag. But I do see a charge on my credit card. More info to follow as soon as I find out !

Trumpet's sound!!!

I drew an archery bull elk tag !

Unit 8 south of Williams Arizona Sept. 15th thru the 27th.

So this fall i'll be chasing screaming bull elk during the rut!!

No crossbow season. Vertical only weapon legal for archery season.

Yes I'm stoked -- elated. Got time to tone my skills -target practice.

Get out and get in better shape over the summer.

Only downside --no time for n woods trip.

A slick trick my wife taught me about cardio, and getting in shape fast is to get a backpack, walk the treadmill at a slight incline, and add weight to the pack every few days. Amazing how fast you drop a few pounds, and build stamina. Good luck on the hunt, and get them skills honed! :wink:
