Riser locating pins and riser bolt locations are the same for:

Bulldog all models
Micro Gen 1
Micro Gen 2 all models

For instant increase in speed install a Micro Gen 1 riser.. :)

I'm not looking for micro limbs. just a forward riser like the m 405 had with matrix limbs how can i make that happen?
i did have the option the other day to put a micro head on the bulldog and passed figuring on poor results.

Not necessarily if you stuck with the matrix limbs. If the new risers are shooting ~20 under and the gen1 is shooting 20 over .

Might end up with a BD400 that shoots 400.

Or, a face injury. Whos to say?

It was wise to pass, as the riser was probably the same. There is no forward swept riser anymore. The whole line now uses the same riser. The version 3 micro riser.

ok the face things not good. so what does the m405 rail measure and what does the bulldog 400 measure.quess you can see
were I'm going with this. (trying to find 20 fps)

Doesn't really matter about the 405, as the risers are not interchangeable between matrix and bulldog line.
But if you were to put a gen1 micro riser on a bulldog of any sort, it will bolt right on and add 20 fps.

Where that theory falls apart, is on the 400.
Theoretically speaking, adding 20pfs by lengthing the rail on a 380 is the same end result as adding the gen1 riser. But with far less stress.
So it you had a 380 I'd be all over it. And frankly I'm kicking myself for not trying that last month when I had all those parts .

will matrix limbs mount on a gen 1 micro riser?.. bd 400 power stroke is 14.0" over all the bow is 35.8"-------bd 380 power stroke is 13.5" over all the bow is 35.0"...i think this is why the bd 400 dose not and never will shooting 400 fps....why would a gen 1(forward) micro riser with matrix limbs on it not work? ..( matrix limbs NOT micro).. just trying to get 400fps so i can use a heaver arrow . thanks
