Boofest charity

Post by Boo »

Ladies and gentleman, a recipient for our (meaning all of us here) charity has been found. More on the person soon. It's time that we all pitch in and do some good for a person in need. I am waiting for approval from the recipient.
You will soon see some sticky threads at the top in regards to what prizes and who they are from.
We will need someone in the US and Canada to act as proxy for the draws. Any volunteers?
I know that I can depend on all the great people who come on Thursday and Friday for help.
I've ordered the outhouses.
Anyone coming from any distance (most of you) and have room to spare should post somewhere (here if you want) that they can help with a ride. Anyone needing a ride should speak up.
Anyone with experience with the hotels around here should speak up and give an opinion.

I want to publicly express gratitude to Rob Dykeman for being instrumental in every direction towards this charity. Rob is the president of Excalibur and will be providing us with the various items from Excalibur and Bowtech (including bows) as well as prodding vendors to help with this great charity!

Its a get together of forum members, Excalibur folks, etc. Lots of fun, lots of shooting, arrows and Bull. A chance to meet forum members, put a face with a name, have a blast, and raise some money for a worthwhile charity. It is a really good time that is family oriented. Hosted by forum member Boo and his wife at their farm outside Newtonville, Ont. Cant wait!

Don, and Karin, it's incredible what you do year after year. It's great to know there are some real giving people in the world today. You open your home, land, and hearts to many people for a charity that is important to the recipient, and there family while engaging folks that just want to have fun, and contribute. Hat's off to you both, and please continue the tradition you started as long as you can!

God Bless you guys!
