He doesn't know yet, he's trying to figure out why the limbs won't flex when he pulls the string.

38 fps is a huge discrepancy from the advertised speed!

From what I understand there are two standards for testing the limbs, or scales perhaps is a better word. The old system went into three digits for whole numbers, the new one is two digits in whole numbers. What that equates to IDK. I put the camo blems back on, and those are 58's which puts me around 374. I like that just fine, and asked for another set evaluated to the same value using the same system. This will give me close enough fo me, and comparable limbs should something happen during the season. I have three Excalibur Crossbows, so why do i even need spare limbs? :eusa-deadhorse:

Flemish String, same one for all testing, and 408 grains, same for all testing. I'm deducting 19.33 FPS for the overweight arrow, and 4 FPS for the string, which i know to be accurate. I should get 356 - 357 with this setup. I get 358 with my 330 riser & limbs. I get 350 - 351 with the Blemished Limbs I purchased, they are 58's marked on the underside. I'm going to get another set of camo 58's, and ditch the blackies.

I'll try to pull my 380 limbs off to see what their numbers are, and then run a stock Diablo through the chrono this weekend. I've got a 28-strand Vixen string on it, but I think I still have the factory zombie green string from the 350 to use. It does seem like these new limbs are a bit slow.

Working on it, maybe after dinner I will have some speed numbers for you. I have the 20, 30, 40, and 50yd markers in place in the yard so I can place my target easily. I just found the tripod for my chrono.
