Matrix 380, full Dr. Stirrup stuff (bumpers, silencers, stirrup).
The two bolts I used were:
Diablo 18" with a field point, weight is 401 grains.
Executioner 18" with a field point, weight is 387 grains.

Vixenmaster 28-strand Force 10 string shot the Diablo at 354fps and the Executioner at 358fps.
Zombie Green Excalibur string shot the Diablo at 363fps and the Executioner at 366fps.

So your 342 number is way too low for a 400 grain bolt. I like how my bow seems to like the heaver bolts, it definitely flung them faster than the lighter ones. I double-checked, I didn't write them down wrong, the heavier bolts left the bow at a faster speed. The chrono was between 1-2 feet from the bow. I have to go put everything away, but I'll try to get my deflection numbers on my limbs for you. Original riser, but it did have the limbs replaced about a year ago due to limb failure.

And to give you a few more speed numbers, here is what I did back in July 2017 with the exact same Diablo 18" bolt at 387 grains...
The Sapphire with Vixenmaster's 24-strand speed string did 277fps.
The Matrix 355 with Vixenmaster's 36-strand durable string did 319fps.
The Matrix 355 with Vixenmaster's 26-strand string did 322fps.
The Matrix 350 with Vixenmaster's 26-strand string did 337fps.
The Matrix 350 with the Zombie Green string did 338fps.
As you can see, my 350 has a great set of limbs on it. That's why I kept it and sold the 355 to buy the 380.

There have been numerous posts that the 350 is faster than the 355.

String weight, string composition and limb deflection all have significant effects on speed.

I got a new riser, and limb set from Excalibur. I'm in the process of setting of Max, and sending the other parts back. I'll post where it is when i get a chance to shoot her, but I have to say Peter & Excalibur has been more than helpful with my issue, and I'm sure my bow will do more than i expected. I got a riser, limbs, and factory string that archived 384 / 385 at test with their chronograph. I don't care anymore where this winds up, but will post my results with my setup with the 408 grain arrows, and 28 strand Flemish string made from Rhino material. I cannot say enough about the response, and care of Excalibur with my issue, unbelievable! There are some companies that deliver what you pay for, hats off Excalibur!

The final product! I can't thank Peter enough for going the distance for this 380! I'm shooting 408 total grains with a heavy Flemish string, by calculations I'm around 387 FPS all said & done!

Congrats Dan, that's FAST!!! My M380 was pushing a 387gr zombie at 367fps with a 28 strand force 10 ....without whiskers. What you have there is a performer!

She's my favorite! No crank used for her yet, but I was a bit tired after about 50 shots.
