Each limb is hand made and that spot is likely resin spillover which is considered a Blemish and ends up discounted as Blems.
No worries.

Is there a corresponding mark in the plastic shim?
And where does this line match up with in the riser pocket?

The line is 1/4" before the end of the riser, creating a gap and causing the tiller issue.

thanks

I had to remove the limbs to look at the shims. There is a mark corresponding in the shim.

Thanks

if its a resin blob that is causing a tiller issue then id smooth it out with a dremel or file. ive never seen a limb blob but if its from a set of blemished limbs then id just smooth it out.

In all these years I've never seen nor heard of this sort of blemish. The way the limbs themselves are made, I can't see this happening either. Maybe during camo application?? A 1/16 to 1/8th inch a whole stinking lot of bump and while maybe its because of the tension but it should have made much more of a tiller distance. None of this makes sence but not all things in life can be explainned right?

Thanks for the reply guys. So they did modified my riser. I dont get this. I never ask for them to do this. All I had was 2 splinter in my right limb. Since the gen 1 rail was not replaced and the power stroke is now shorter, speed will be impacted. Also, why are the picture I posted removed? If the wrong technic was used, how do you post picture now? I try attaching the picture, but does not seems to work.

Thank you,
Hey P. been there, Peter will make it right. No harm no foul..

I did some more shooting this weekend and the crossbow shoot as expected, which is perfect.

This is with the limb with the bump off the bow. The tiller is perfect, the string is square with the rail and I am shooting 1" group at 50 yards. So prefect.

Now I did try to reinstalled the limbs with the bump and the tiller issue is back. The issue is worst than the picture depict. 1/4" difference between each bumper. So the limb is the source of the issue for sure. Waiting on Monday for Peters feedback. I do not want the scrape or do whatever to the limb before Peter get back to me.

Thanks

Here is an update. Peter ship me another set of limbs. This should fix the issue for good.
