Spring

Post by hankenhunter »

I saw my first honey bees today. Still snow on the ground but Bees! :D Life is quickening here in B.C. Time to start rebuilding rag bags and get ready for calving. Should be a bumper crop of coyotes to kill this year. Oh yeah, target practice. Have a great spring everyone.

The Robins are back in Wisconsin along with the geese! Spring has begun! Trees and bushes are budding too! By far my favorite season when everything comes to life again!

Two weeks I open my trailer for the summer at the park. Minus seven degrees on Monday as a high. Looks cold for the next two weeks. Where is this spring thing people talking about? LOL

The winter here was mild again so we'll be up to our arm pits in deer again. I just pray we don't have the fires like we had last year. The smoke cover ruined a lot of gardens and suntans. The burns will be a huge food source in the coming years for the wildlife so I guess there's a silver lining.
