Good affordable bear hunts
I got kind of screwed on my last bear hunt. My buddy and I want to go north this time to hunt bears. This would be for next year. Can you guys give us some recommendations? We want to drive from Rockville, Indiana. I am scared of flying.

This is my Dads friend. Our family hunting business sent a lot of people there before my Dad retired. This year it’s $2300US for 6 day hunt and fish all inclusive. Dave, the owner, just visited us last week and brought homemade maple syrup.

We hunted bear on horseback there. I think it was $3000 for the week.

Try the Slipp Brothers in Hoyt, New Brunswick (Ron Slipp Telephone (506)-687-4625: Duane Slipp (506) 368-7747). They are trappers and really know black bears. They bait with meat and have many sites. You will get a bear.
