As the long time members know I have been making deer calls for forum members for years. A few years ago a fire destroyed the factory that made the laminates I used for many of my calls. The supplier I bought them from has been searching for a replacement ever since that source ended.
Last year he introduced a new product which I tried and was not satisfied with. My reason - too high priced, and NOT durable.
Now he has another possible replacement, so I ordered a blank to try. Got it yesterday, and turned a call to see how I liked it.
I think I found a winner!!!!!!!!
There will be 4 colors available (I will be ordering all 4 colors soon). Here is a pic of the call I turned to see if I liked the laminate.
(the call is not finished yet, but when it's done I'll put it on the "Trading Post" section)
Not 100% sure of an asking price yet, but this material will allow me to keep the price in the range I was getting for my lower priced wood calls.
