I have a max and find putting the string on very easy with a stringer if you don't have one I would get one saves a bunch of time and also limits the chance of hurting yourself or some one close by I find the max awesome good luck with it. I forgot to say watch your brace hieght with the string I set mine about a half inche or so behind the scribe lines on the rail.

You made a fine choice. Can't go wrong with an Excalibur. Best of Luck.

Hey thanks alot everyone, to answer the question where I bought it from, I got it from LeBarron, their having a big 15% sale so i decided to jump on the opportunity. It cost be 645 streight without any excessories for the crossbow without tax, so its not the bad.

Thanks for the kind words. Take care
