I have the earlier version of their Compact and rather like it.
I will be interested in hearing your thoughts on this one once you've had the opportunity to play with it a little...

Enjoy!

Yes. Give us a good review. I'm thinking about upgrading my xb1 to a new compact for my 380. I like the yardage numbers on the new reticle

It's too bad that the scope seems to be set to 450fps on the 6x top end!? So with a "normal" speed bow,. you will have to run at a reduced zoom-power. Not sure if 450fps should be the 6X setting on this!?! I love the reticle, that's nice. I hope they offer 2 versions  :eusa-whistle: :?:

Well I received the scope and used it for a few weeks while Turkey hunting.

Pros
Reticle design well thought out.
Larger yardage marker numbers is a pluis.
Compact and fits the Bulldog stock perfectly for proper eye relief.

Cons
Glass leaves alot to be desired. Granted my right eye is not the best after using it for 49 years but blurry glass is an understatement.

I ended up pulling it off and put my XB30 pro back on.

I had high hopes for this scope but it simply didn't work for my eyesight. :(

Hawke really needs to improve there glass. They have a strong hold on the crossbow market but sooner or later another company will come along with better glass and they will be in trouble.

Bummer.
Not what I was hoping to hear... :wtf:

Thanks for the report though!
Guess I'll hang on for a spell before looking again...

Hawke has a large variety of rifle scopes. Some are quite pricy. Surely , they have some good glass. Hawke crossbow glass has improved some over the years. Really like their scopes but wish they’d significantly upgrade their glass. At least Hawke is very consistent in that they always need to upgrade their glass.
