Micro Black Ops Tom

Post by Carnivorous »

The hunting God's were goo to me again in the Turkey woods today.

This beauty Tom gobbled in the early Morning like crazy but seemed to have left with a hen. Then at 10am I heard him gobble again after I hammered the slate call. I figured I had nothing to loose because I was only staying until 11am so I called aggressive and it payed off. It took him a full 30 min to cover 100 yards with the most amazing strutting I have ever seen. Even if he would have left without giving me a shot I would have been happy with the hunt. I waited patiently for him to come to the Lone hen decoy. When he was in perfect position at 15 yards I launched the magnus bullhead arrow from my Micro and the shot was perfect. It was bitter sweet to end the Tom's life as it always is when we kill but he will provide great meals and it will be a hunt I will never forget.
