Excalibur Assassin assasinates California Turkey

I just back from my first turkey hunt . The ranch was located just a bit north of San Luis Obispo Ca. This was the first time the guide had guided someone with a crossbow. This was my 6 year old sons first hunt and I wanted to make it a great experience. I have a bulldog 400 but just had to take the new assassin. We got to the ranch at 5:15 Am to get going with the guide. We were looking for a group of about 20 turkeys. The wind was so strong at first that we had a heck of a time locating the flock. Finally we heard a gobble and it was game on. The guide set me up under a tree with the decoys 23 yards from me. My son and they guide were a few feet behind me. The birds started on one hill, ran across a canyon then up a hill when the guide was calling. Those things are really loud. A group of 6 toms walked right past me to the decoy. I put the crosshair in the killzone and the excalibur assassin absolutely hammered him at 23 yards. The guide yelled out, "That's a good hit." The turkey tried to run and fly and just couldn't. He went maybe one yard and just flopped. Besides the assassin crossbow I had a Hawke Xb 30 pro scope, South Shore Archery Supply double walled Spynal Tapps and an Innerloc Shape Shifter broadhead. The guide was quite impressed at how quickly the set up put him down. The assassin performed flawlessly
