Thank all of you for your wishes and thoughts. Everyone has days (and years) where they really need a lifting up. This has been one of those years and day.

God is great, satan is horrible and very effective at his self appointed task!

Thank all of you for your wishes!

I’m always uncomfortable accepting thanks “for my service”. I was in Dental school, got drafted, did my best to get out of the draft. Actually , I was in a USAF pre-enlistment program to go in as a dentist upon graduating.
But got drafted, went thru army basic at Fort Benning in July and Aug 1969, then got an inter service transfer to USAF, officers training, flight school and the dream assignment of an F111 and a few years later getting to go thru F111 Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun School). Loved it, except the 3 survival schools, simulated POW training, and parasailing and parachuting ( :oops: I’m afraid of heights). Volunteer- no! Making the best of an unsolicited situation - yes! :thumbup:
