When I got my C2 I saw that the handle was to small for my hot dog fingers so I made one that fits my hand and it is a lot easier to control . it works just fine for me.

It seems much more complex than the C-2. It’s just a more sophisticated device. If the C-2 is $169 and the Charger is $229, the Charger is more for the money, IMO.

If anyone actually paid $169 for the C2 they way overpaid. My brand new was $100 shipped and I have seen them cheaper.

Just a note about using the Charger crank on older Matrix model crossbows, the rope length is a bit short for these models so the string will have to be pulled up to the hooks. The Charger is designed to be used with the Micro and Bulldog series crossbows, it can be adapted to work with other crossbows but be aware of the rope length. We have one upset customer about this already so I wanted to let people know here of the limitations. If you are not able to pull the string up onto the hooks the Charger may not be the best option.

The Charger will make a little click about half way up the rail while cranking as the rope moves in the spool, its not a huge deal but the rope is under a lot of tension as it rolls on itself and it can make a little pop noise. Its not very loud and most will not notice it.
I can't see it being a problem and we only had one person mention it so far, probably the same guy.

My c-2 crank would make that pop noise until I waxed the whole length of the cord and it stopped. Coincidence? Not sure..
