Bohning Fletchtite Platinum

Has anyone had a problem with this glue not holding on Blazer Vanes? Out of about 60 vanes , I've had probably 10-12 just pop off . I cleaned with acetone, both vanes and bolt. Just curious because some held up.

I used Blazers on Executioners and haven’t had any issues with Bohning Fletchtite Platinum. I also clean with acetone. I use an Arizona fletcher if that makes any difference.

I only had that problem with this glue when I used the fletching primer pen on the fletchings! Do NOT use with a primer pen! Those primer pens are for use with Cyanoacrylate type of glues! Otherwise this glue is one of the best. Good luck!

I told Danny Miller that I was having trouble getting my vanes to stick well with Fletchtite Platinum once, his reply was “ Well how old is your Fletchtite, Pardner?”
I guess Danny had a problem with that once, and it hasn’t been a problem for me since.

2 Facts i have concernin the Plat. Fletchtite. Once opened use it when done put in fridge. Clean shafts alum. usin denatured alcohol. Dispose of the glue after 60 days! I quit buyin it

I have not had good luck with it. I use Loctite 440, I usually get a good deal on it

I have had the same problem with adhesion , have to agree with Danny if it has been around for a while it will cause trouble
