Flemish string issue?

Post by foofoo »

never seen this before? materials gave out ? stretched out too much over time? string about a year old. shot only inside less than 150 shots would be a good guess. arrow hit its mark but the funny noise it made was like utt ohh...the string jumped the string stops and is still one piece. Image

It's a really poor picture but it's most likely poor construction. It looks to me that the part leading to the loops is too short. The situation may be activated by insufficient strands as well.

Don't know who made it but looks like the Black material broke at the shot .How many strands were in this string ?

On top of everything else, we both have perfect wives too? I'm going to call my mom and ask her if she lied to me all these years and that I have a twin out there.

It's caused by the bundles twisted unevenly, which effectively makes one bundle shorter than the other. It can be prevented by monitoring bundle length at each transition and making the appropriate adjustments.
