380 Matrix History

Post by Big Pard »

Hi fellas I have a question about the limb "survival rate" on the 380 Matrix. Was this bow more susceptible to limbs cracking/delaminating? I seem to remember that some time ago there was a problem with a few bows risers and excal changing them. Just curious as my pal is about to buy one second hand..

Buy with confidence. The bow will last a lifetime. If an issue comes up your covered with outstanding customer service..

I bought a matrix 330 off the trading post and had a limb issue and it was covered without a problem.

I've gone through every speed model Excalibur has put out so far and I keep coming back to the 380... Solid shooter, as accurate as you are and very minimal limb issues. I'm back down to only three of them and won't sell them for anything else out there... and now with the new crank that can retro fit the matrix bows its a win-win...

.....totally agree with Ed....I never had any kind of issue with my 380 prior to selling it to RobD (My Brother From a Different Mother)....I probably would have kept it if it were not for it being a little long for me...now I am madly in love with an Assassin as it fits perfectly....the Gen1 335 is hanging on by a thread with me due to the new Crank Charger (which is awesome)....I can see nothing but 2; either Assassin's or the next gen of the built in crank iteration....At which time I will stop buying any new bows      :eusa-liar: :eusa-liar: :eusa-liar:

INHO, the 380 Matrix is The Best bow Excalibur has ever produced.
Mine I've had since they first came out. Never any issues whatsoever.
Over 4,000 shots, and a couple good handfuls of game with her.

Highly Recommended!!

This is a very well used 380, and top notch spokesman for the model!

Any idea what could have caused this? I will say that dealing with Excaliburs service dept is very smooth and efficient..

Can happen to any bow I guess. :wtf:

I've had three various models, and the Matrix 380 the longest of the lot.
Although I have heard of such limb issues, I have never experienced anything of the sort.
And I am BRUTAL on my equipment! Most would actually shudder to know what my bows (etc) go through!

Anyway, on the very off chance something like that should ever occur, it is great to know the Fine Folks at Excalibur will look well after you very VERY Quickly!

And thanks for the back-pat xcalibur! Appreciated Buddy!

Thats ironic, is that the bow that we all told you is the best bow ever? I've never seen a splinter like that.
But then again, I'm not that well versed in the splintering of a limb. Only ever seen one so far
