? For the Micro suppressor owners

Post by Carnivorous »

I have the Trigger tech on mine and have given the latches a good polishing. My servings are only lasting for about 50 shots. I know the claws are holding alot of pressure but this is getting annoying..lol

How is your servings holding up with the stock trigger claws? I have my factory trigger and am thinking about putting it back in after I Polish the latches.

I'm not to far off that with the Pitbull Jeff. I get separation pretty quick with a trigger tech. Wasn't better with the BOO'd factory at all.

For that matter my Micro 355 separation the serving pretty quick too

It's time I learned to serve my own strings and rotate them through the beast.. Lol

I have a Trigger tech on mine and did polished latches too. My servings are lasting up to 125 shots. I use 0.036" Angel Majesty. I try to serve the string as tight as possible to prevent serving separation. I saw the BOO's video many time as a guide. I reverse the side of the string every 40 shots.

Actually, I shouldnt comment. I have a brand new string for the Pitbull and I havent shot it yet . all the other string I got about 50 before swappong them, but in reality, they may have had 50 on them already.

I get the bow back tomorrow, so ill re-string and start fresh.

I don't know if you wax your serving where the claws touch the string . I don't wax in that spot it actually helps the claws separate the serving . of course wax the rest of the string. it works for me . polish the claws and polish some more . it will help. and rotate it after 50 shots or so.

Are you guys getting separation or tearing/wear? If your latches are good, you should get a whole lot more than 50 shots with my servings.
Jeff, bring a string to Boofest that needs reserving.

Im getting separation. But I have been ever since I put the gen1 riser on there. Work well for a bit, but eventually you get the string colour peeking through the back side of the string. Then when it gets adjusted its pretty much separated already.

I have two of your strings Don, I'll toss one on there tomorrow and see if it separates. I think the string you made me last year only has 10 or less on it

Bring them to Boofest. I'll reserve those strings even though they aren't mine. It will be interesting to see how long my strings last on your beast.

Don, the first Boofest that I went to, I got to watch you re- serve a string for Dan. You were a great teacher, I bet you could sell tickets to a demo.

Micro is a different animal. Higher poundage on the limbs and a much sharper string angle when cocked. 355 may well be the worst case.

There's an idea! I could do a demo if enough want to see it. Wyvern sent 2 set ups to be drawn. Let's do it!
