Do I get a reisterer stock

Post by MickB »

I was thinking of pursuing my old plan of putting a wood stock on my matrix 380. I am a fan of traditional lines. I was wondering if anyone has any input in the pros and cons of doing this? One I can think of is weight, which won't bother me, I am not an ounce-saver. I was wondering whether there is a chance it might adversely effect accuracy in any way. I am thinking it would make no difference but thought I would put it out there.

A wood stock will not affect your accuracy in any way. I suggest following your plan because wood is good.

You'll have to brush up on an ancient old language called grumpy ole man :eusa-dance:
In all seriousness, his stocks don't have to be heavier than the OE stock. Some of them are quite light weight. The one I have is right on par. Much of it has to do with the blank chosen and the design. It sure is nice at lowering noise and feeling much less cold on your hands and face.

Thanks fellas, I am seriously considering it. I'm assuming if he sends a stock to my country I don't need to be a bowsmith to install it myself?
