What do you use, and why?

I have used Rage before with great success, however stopped after a pass through that didn't open, it was a solid heart shot, the deer expired, but the head didn't open

I know use ramcats. They do what they need to, if I do my job. They don't fly exactly like a field point, I do have to adjust slightly to a the BH, and save one for target use.

Ramcats on thin skinned game because of accuracy and large wound channel.
Magnus Black hornets on hogs, elk and bear because of accuracy, durability, sharpness and warranty.

Can any one give a count of how many animals theyve harvested with the BH? Lost any?

My mechanical of choice for 6 years running is the NAP FOC 170 gr.

A full 3 inch cut two blade at .039 thick blades resulted in not one deer or bear going MORE than 50 yards. I have lost track how many animals the FOC has taken but the count is more than 12.

I am waiting for my first shipment of XBOW MAG 100/125 GR mechanicals by SWAT.

4 .036 blades leave a massive 3 and 3/4" cut. Two of the 4 blades function similar the the Swacker deployment.

Never heard of the swat heads until now but they look very enticing, please give a review once you’ve had a chance to experiment with them.

I might add that I was very impressed with the SWAT broadheads after seeing them at the 2018 ATA show.

I am a firm believer in the Slick Trick X bow Head , I have killed over a well over a dozen deer with them , most of the time the deer runs around 100 yards ,I like the quality , toughness, 4 blade cut, heavy weight of the 150 grain head, I actually am using the discontinued 175 gr heads, and the fact that I can just put in replacement blades after a kill and use the head again after a kill I have taken many deer with one head .
They fly great for me , I do make my own bolts and square the shafts up for consistency, and have a couple of dedicated practice broad heads .
I just like the 100 percent reliability of the non mechanical head I can hit a poker chip size bull at 30 yards no problem with any of my bolts.

Grim Reaper 100 gr on the standard Diablo arrow. 11 deer taken, 1 lost (I made a bad shot). Broadhead head worked perfectly each time. Broadheads come 3 per. package and one practice head.

RamCat 125 grain broadheads have been great for me . A 400 pound black bear and a 200 # BUCK . Massive entry and exit hole and they fly like darts from my M380 .
