Post by venison »

Can someone tell me if I get a smaller tension arm on my matrix 380 will that shorter one be better???I notice ounce in a while me arrow is sliding a little does that mean my tension arm worn out The one on my 380 is longer then the 350. Is the shorter one stiffer ???

Ive had both on the same bow. I did not notice that it was Any stronger. Just shorter.

You can always bend it down to increase the tension

I have had arrows slide a little under the spring all I did was push the spring down and that worked .

I like a nice tight spring ....almost touching. No difference in length in performance.

I took my crossbow a part and pushed it down its on the rail I put some heat shrink on it see if that helps it from sliding ...If not I buy I new one last thing I want is a parcel dry fire... I noticed when I was hunting in my stand it was sliding a little bit had to keep making sure it was tight up against the string :Last thing I want to do is think about that when I'm pulling the trigger

When its installed, push down on the spring up to closer to the adf, that will increase the downward pressure. Or if its still not installed, go ahead and bend it slightly.

Heat shrink really helps to take the twang out of it.
