Does this one share the same asinine MSRP of $1700 just like the original assassin or did they come to their senses and cut at least $500 off the price? Stores are selling them for a bit less, but $1800 CAD after taxes for a recurve is laughable.

One way to look at it. But when you take the crank and case out of the equation its not any more expensive than a suppressor or a BD400.
I wont be buying one any time soon. But for the guys that want speed and a cranks, the numbers start to look good

I guess it is safe to conclude you won' t being buying one anytime soon.
From what I can determine researching online the Strata Lists for $1499.99
$100 less than the Original Assassin.
Still trying to determine the differences besides the Strata Camo pattern.

Thought the same when the Assassin first came out $$$$$   .
Screwed my shoulder so then took a second look . Did the math / weighted the possibility of having to sit out the this hunting season or two.
Then the clincher came in the mail this week recieved a moose tag in Ontario Moose Draw.
Now to find one in a local store is the next challenge and decide between the Original Assassin or Strata Version.

Cabelas has the Assassins for 1599.00 and the Strata Assassins are 1499.00 I personally think the airbrakes and hard case is worth the 100.00 however none of our local shops have had either in stock so I could check them out, one of the sales reps at one of the Field & Streams I go to said they usually sell out as soon as they come in so someone’s out there buying them. With my shoulder and back problems I’ve been waiting to check em out but no luck so far. I’d think they would start stocking up on them now. Also don’t see a lot of reviews on them not sure how they are doing, but I guess no news is good news.
