EMO! Now there's a town I haven't been to in a while. I spent four summers working along the Ontario/Minnesota border and got to visit every town along the way. Great memories and met lots of nice folks up in that area.
Beautiful country and I'd love to make the trek again some day. Maybe next time I'll connect on some big Lake of the Woods muskies :D.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

I was surveying the Canada/US border. A small section is re-surveyed every year to maintain a "visible boundary line". Lots of tree clearing an placing of survey markers.

I went to work each day in either a boat or a canoe and surveyed the broder from Lake of the Woods to Sherbrooke, Quebec. It's all rivers and lakes between Lake of the Woods and Lake Superior. Awesome country! We stayed in motels, fishing resorts, or tents depending on the area we were in. It was a paid vacation for 4 summers. Caught lots of bass, trout, walleye and pike up there. I'd go back anytime.
