Great rangefinder but this thing sucks the life outta batteries . I think maby Duracell was partnering. During the season when in use l might get 2 weeks out of a battery. Any recommendations ....that don't cost a lot. Only need it to work a 100 yards. My buddy has a nikon that has gotten 3 years out of a battery

Must been bad batteries? I have the Halo Z6X600 lazer rangefinder with AI & progressive scan that I’ve had for 3 years now and still on the original Energizer battery!

I would agree with that because Duracell batteries have not been meeting my expectations for the last couple of years. Switched to energizer and no more low run time.
The only battery brand l have tried is Duracell. As said a battery usually lasts about 3 weeks. Hunting most evenings say maby 2 rangings per hunt.
