Copy and paste. What you are looking for is toward the bottom after “sighting in your crossbow”

Do yourself a favor, do not use a dremel. Many and I mean many, latches/trigger units have been FUBARed beyond repair. Strips of abrasive material will distribute the polishing over a wide area and a dremel will apply all of the polishing action onto one spot. That can easily end up as a deep divot. Also, protect your trigger unit by using a wide strip of tape over the opening of the trigger unit and point the bow downwards to direct any loosened abrasives and metal away from the trigger unit.
To get decent wear, you need an absolutely perfect surface on the latches. But because you cannot get in close enough with a loupe, you really can't see how well you are progressing. So all you can do is polish and check by shooting. Your indicator is whether or not the fibers are being torn out, causing the serving to look fuzzy instead of shinny.
Keep in mind that you can start an RA and have your rough latches dealt with by Excalibur.

“FUBARed beyond repair.“

Hee hee! There’s a technical term I haven’t heard in several decades! :)

I think it must have died out with the WWII veterans...

I used buffing pad wheel on my dremel tool with green polishing compound and claws are like chrome bumpers.
Getting no wear too much on servings and nothing on servings or rail except silicone spray put on and wiped off with vixenmaster string!!!
Before that polishing i was eating servings like 40 shots!

Thanks for advice!
