Bluetooth Nocks and Locators

Post by nchunterkw »

This looks very interesting

https://breadcrumbtech.com/

The site says they have crossbow nocks in 0.300" ID and the locator thing intrigues me as well. That could mean no more reflective tacks leading others to your spot/stuff.

But $45 for 1 nock.

I have used similar device for an R/ C airplane. Worked Great!!! Keys too. Now they have it for nocks?? Just have one problem everyone who uses that app can see where that arrow nock is. I’ll have to look into that though.

I like the locator thing a bit better than a nock. Be helpful for finding a stand in the pitch black and not getting turned around and tromping all over where you don't want to trying find it. Also you wouldn't need to use any other markers which could tip off someone that you have a stand somewhere nearby. Those are only $40 for 1 but could be used throughout the year as well for other things. Of course if you do have cell coverage, you can just drop a pin on your map. But I never have coverage.
