Does anyone know if Excal changed the design for there REDS ? ( Matrix series)
Question is : did they change the mounting adaptor from a ball type to a disc style type

I know that changed a long time ago. The ball was replaced by a flat version. It was found the flat version created an air pocket that benefited performance. Early Matrix users would cut the ball in half with a hack saw. I remember doing that to mine and I thanked Danny Miller for the tip.
