Following Orders!!

Killed a little Button buck this morning on the back of my friends 3.5 acre place. Only about 20 to 25 yards from his house. Would of passed on it normally but my friends wife gave me strict orders to kill what ever I saw. Said they have all but destroyed her flower beds and garden. When she saw it she did a little dance in her driveway!!

Shot at 18 yards with Exomax. Complete pass through and little buck only ran about 20 yards or so. Was back home by about 8am. Buddy already dropped it off at the processor. As much as his wife dislikes them in the yard she loves to eat them.

Broadhead cut ribs going in and out with no damage to the blades.

Congrats on the tender vittles. I'm lucky to have a landowner with similar distaste for deer. His orders? Kill'em all! He has bradford pear trees lining his driveway and certain bucks treat them like a rub line. Surprisingly, his family isn't a fan of eating venison. I've offered it processed and even in summer sausage and still no takers. I've certainly been blessed with access to his property. He wants them all gone, and I'm willing to give it my best shot and let the Hunters For the Hungry program reap some of the reward.
