Changing the crankeroo with D-Loop

Hey guys/gals, My crankeroo is getting or showing some age. Can I change that braided tan with something else? The tan is not me. I was thinking D-loop 2.0 mm

I used Amsteel just under 1/8" diameter. I did have to enlarge the holes to thread the material through, but it holds up great. The D Loop material might work, but I don't know of anyone using it.

X2 .... I purchased mine online from West Marine, very reasonable per foot. I believe it was 7/64 Amsteel wire rope.

Ok, we have them here just north of Tampa, I’ll stroll in and get some. I keep looking at the Tan, and it doesn’t fit my lime green string thang! Cool beans Thanks a lot.

Well I got the string in and it doesn’t look exact. I went on to a speargun site and I think I’m gonna go another route. Thank you though.

Ok if you want something that looks identical, I think I have found it. I’m gonna go with 1.8 Endurance 12.
Pretty tough stuff. I’ll report after using a bit.
