Excalibur Suppressor Issue

Post by Ben S. »

My friend bought the Supprressor 355. and is having a hard time zeroing in with it. He's shooting 150gr field tips and has the speed on his scope set at 343. He's dead on at 20yds but 2-3 inches low at 30yds and 40yds. Does he need to slow the speed down on his scope?? I would think that's the problem?? Thanks for the help.

If you are dead on at 20 yards move back to 30 and adjust the speed ring until you are hitting at proper height I am sure you will need to back it down a bit .
Then if you can check things out at 40 yards you can really fine tune things on a calm day.

Dead on at 20, move target to 40 and aim with the 20 at the top of the target knowing the arrow will hit low. Use a rest for this, and then aim at dot again with 20, and adjust zoom until 40 mark is on arrow, and 20 is on top dot still. Verify 40 at 40, 30 at 30, etc. Don't concern yourself with the speed on scope, they are rarely correct.
Yes, turn speed setting down.
