Update on Dennis Archambault. They just gave us an update. They took a vein from his leg and first graft is done. So far everything is going well. Another update in an hour.

Update 3: Dennis is doing great as can be expected. No BP meds. He’s been moved to Cardiac ICU and they should be removing (or may have already) the intubation tube. We’re letting him rest a couple hours and will check on him around 3:30 or 4:00. We still have not had the opportunity to speak to the surgeon as he had another case, but hope to in a bit.


Again....keep those prayers coming!!!!

Hot off of the press from Celia:

Update 4: Intubation tube is out and he’s in a lot of pain saying he wished he didn’t do it. He will feel different in a few days and even better in a few weeks. His pressure was up a bit so they gave him Meds and pain killers. Every time he moves he cusses so it’s looking good. Nurses say he’ll be sitting in a chair tomorrow. She said he needs rest and so do we, so leaving in a bit and coming back early a.m. Thanks to everyone for your support, kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Keep those prayers coming. We love each and every one of you and are blessed to have you in our lives. ((Hugs)) and much to All.

Update 5: I finally have the update on the surgery from the surgeon’s PA. They did do a quadruple bypass. We were told triple on the update during surgery but final is 4. He is still in ICU. He is sitting up and did a little up/down and 2 steps from the chair therapy. They hope to take out the chest tube in the morning and wean him down off high flow oxygen and pain med drip later today. He doesn’t feel like eating but that should change in next 48 hours and he should be moved out of ICU at some point tomorrow.
