Those bumpers are screaming for help!! Lol
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

When I see a pic like that, I tend to think that the owner is not too interested in the bow and that could be a plus for the buyer.

Another thing to add was that for a while, a couple years back, bows were being sent out from the factory, and by the time they would sit on a store or warehouse shelf the string would settle and they would come out of the box looking like this. If the store staff(I remember Cabela's being the worst culprit) did not know to adjust them, they would be sold like this. If the customer bought it like this and didn't know any better, Especially if the included instructions didn't mention your model, then unfortunately this is how they stayed in many cases.

My next question would be “how old is this bow and what is it worth in this condition?”
I know they stopped making them a while back.
The buyer is asking $675 US

Could be as old as 5 years old. I wouldn’t give anymore than $550 US for it since there is already a minimum of $50 that you know of will have to be spend on it. Just my opinion.

I bet the string is fine and unless the string actually cut the rubber bumpers they will probably be OK too. It usually just compresses the rubber.

Excalibur used D75 string material alot more than anyone knew. I thought for along time it was strictly D97 but found out from a very reliable source that in fact they were using D75. I've since then seen it in print.

As said above, new string and bumpers= good to go. Price is a bit steep though.

Thanks, I would probably just make an offer and see what he says. Of course I’d mention the damage.

Looks like the string is resting on the limbs... Not good!
