hey, i'm 21 and have just got into crossbow shooting
as i live in england there is no hunting opportunities that i know of, and even if there were i'm no way good enough to try it
so i've been making some targets for fun and practice
does anyone know anything, other than straight fwd target practice, that is fun and will help me improve my shooting? or ways of making ^ more interesting :]

Hi Macca,

Welcome to the world of crossbows and the forum.

We have a few Brits on the forum. Look 'em up in the member's list. There's nothing like shooting with a friend or a few friends, to share the excitement.

Some people around here shoot 3-D for fun. That is they set up a course with a number of 3-dimensional brown foam deer decoys, bears, turkeys and such in the woods and set up a day of "competative" shooting with fellow archers. Have a beer after the event, not before.
