Keith's Hunting Tip of the Day.....
When decocking your Micro with your Charger Crank, hold onto the handle or use the wrist strap. Otherwise it's kind of like hitting the same spot on your hand with a hammer about 5 times in a row.
This too will feel better once it quits hurtin'.............

It doesn't take much to screw up, it just takes thinking you're smarter that you think you are. I think I got hit with 2 revolutions of the freaking knob. I guess we should start a club and Keith is the president until someone else takes over

Re: Keith's Hunting Tip of the Day.....
It's OK, just hurt a lot when I did it Friday night. It did swell up pretty nice too but nothing seems broken. I'm still pretty new to using a crank, and I put the handle on and released tension from the trigger and fired the trigger, then I let it down 1 turn and pushed in the ADF, but that wasn't enough. ANd while messing with that, trying to relieve enough tension to get it to drop out of the way, the dang thing slipped right out of my hand. Since I was leaning over the left side looking at the ADF I didn't even have a chance to move my hand until it was over. Sunday night when I came back to the truck I used the wrist strap. So see engineers can learn from their mistakes....
Staying in Engineer Mode......Here is the correct procedure
1 Attach crank to bow
2 Attach hooks to string
3 Put the crank in "cock" mode
4 put on the wrist strap
5 Put the handle in the wrist strap
6 Connect the handle to the crank
7 crank just a little forward to release tension from the trigger
8 fire the trigger
9 Put the crank in "Release" mode
10 hold the ADF
11 slowly let down the string
If you let the string down even a little bit from where it was with the claws it can hold up the ADF from releasing.

Re: Keith's Hunting Tip of the Day.....
I tried it once with no strap on wrist took the handle right out of my hand did not get hit . Now I leave the wrist strap with the handle already in the strap so all I have to do is slip the strap over my hand and down to my wrist. I have been using it all summer .
