If I was so lucky my first immediate accessory purchase would be an Anti Dryfire to protect it from any dryfire mishaps.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on a sweet bow. If you want a quality string that wont cost anymore than a store string but last 10x longer, order from one of the stringmakers in the the trading post. Plus, they can reserve them for you for much less the cost of a string. Like colored chameleon said, get an anti dryfire scope rail when you can because everyone dryfires at least once.

does anyone have any suggestions on quieting the shot down? cat wiskers? also the anti dry fire is that the metal piece that runs under the scope and the bolt lifts when it is slid on the rail?

That is the arrow retention spring that you mentioned. Tha ADF (anti dri-fire) is what the retention spring and scope mount to on top of the rail.
