Got out for bear yesterday saw a really big female at dusk she had 2 very young Cubs....l just wouldn't do it. After 11 hours in stand l really just wanted to go home.. not cart a bear out for hours .lm such a softie lately. But l wacked a big gobbler with a super freak extreme darn near gutted him too....its soaked in ranch dressing bacon wrapped and deep fried Turkey tonite. Many small bucks moving just enjoying the fall. Sooner or later a tag worthy big gun will slip up. Good luck everyone...shoot strait.

Pressure is off and next week is our black powder week. One more tag to fill and that's all she wrote! :)
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.
