Stupid school projects ....

Post by XB I GO »

Well 7th grade is boring. We are supposed to write about someone who stands for things we believe in and influences us. I can't choose Jesus because that is religious  . It can't be a relative. I had a good babysitter, so next I chose this guy, some of you might recognize the Colonel...

No, the teacher meant somebody famous. If she only knew! I guess I've been thinking about hunting. The next person that came to mind is …

Mr. Boo.

He hosts a charity event every year, he helps people, he is patient and he uses his talents to provide something to others when he doesn't have to. The teacher said, someone famous not one of your friends. Well ..... as far as I am concerned Mr. Boo is famous here on the Excalibur forum!

Thank you Mr. Boo. I will be stuck writing about President Theodore Roosevelt.

What and education.....

Thanks XB! But, I am several decimal points from being so famous or doing good things as Teddy did. Writing about me would have earned you a C minus or less!
BTW, you were a cute puppy in that pic!

Thank you XB! Yep, I know the name being old enough and interested in guns, shooting and hunting. I remember some articles written by him in hunting mags and if memory serves me, reloading books. A friend of the family? Very cool!

President Trump is famous, depending on the teacher you would either get an A+ or an F !!
I'm sure you will get a good grade on whomever you choose to write about, the general sounds like a good choice, just hope the teacher is a hunter!!

I am a TR admirer. he was an incredible outdoorsman and conservationist and his "man in the arena" quote is something i revisit. i think if u give this assignment a chance, you will find something to take away from it to apply to all ur future endeavors, not just school or hunting.
