Wide Rack

Post by ko4nrbs »

This was taken last year at my buddy's place. Sure hoping he comes back this year!!

With a rack so wide I was wondering if he could do some serious damage to other bucks while sparing?

Nice! Imagine how frustrating that must be to walk through the woods. Hard to impress the ladies with your head stuck in a branch.

Actually he might be in danger from a spike on up slipping between his rack and impaling him.

Nice buck, it always amazes me when the big boys run through the woods and don't get hung up in branches. When the real dirty fighting gets heated up usually bucks pretty close in domination status fight, and one gets the worse of it. Good question, and concern. Many years ago before cell phones, etc. we found two bucks tangled up dead in a ditch. One was pretty beaten up, but the larger boy died from not being able to shake loose. The amount of decay unfortunately did not allow us to determine if eyes got poked out, or not. Birds had done a job on all the soft tissue, critters did the rest.
Hope you see him in close during legal time, good luck! :eusa-popcorn:
