In my opinion, Munch (on this board) makes and sell the best top quiver mounts. He also makes and sell metal cocking hooks, and after having one of the plastic ones break, I don’t use anything else.

I own both and prefer the one from Danny. Reason: weight. it is lighter and costs less! JMO!

I don't think so, it just looks like lime green, but I wouldn't know how to tell. The extra nocks are just lime green as well.

@robertyb - Munch & Danny are the same people, or different people? And what is the reason you prefer the top mounts? They look like they would get in the way of the scope, but I know that is not the case or people wouldn't be buying them....LOL

The Exocet is a good first choice...not as good as a Vortex,but..... just kidding.

My older Vortex does not have an anti dry fire and personally I don't think it's a requirement on the older bows. It may be a nice add-on later, but it would be down my priority list.
Stringing aid is a must have - I think you have that
Extra string is very high on the list - to keep you hunting should something happen
An Extra set of limbs is another good insurance policy - mine were priceless on a bear hunt last year - but also a bit down the list on the bigger bows.
Very good arrows - a must have. DO not skimp here. Same with BHs. Do not go cheap. They may not fly well and may not perform well. I sugest Black Eagle Zombie Slayer arrows and Slick Trick or RamCat BHs.
I take my quiver off as soon as I sit down so I just use the stock quiver mount. I don't like the quiver on when I am hunting.
What kind of scope is it? This is another area to go high quality on.
You may eventually want to upgrade the trigger as well. But again not necessary and down the priority list.

So if I were to trick out and older bow.............
Basics:
Bow, quiver/mount, stringing aid, cocking rope, stock arrows

Upgrades
1) Zombie Slayer arrows, with RamCat BHs
2) Spare String
3) Spare Set of limbs
4) Hawke XB30 SR Pro scope
5) Trigger Tech trigger

Ha ha Keith, thanks. This one was more in line budget wise. I knew the one you have for sale is nice, but I couldn't convince the CFO and wasn't going to low ball you. When you can, PM me or txt me your website again so I can put that on my list for string. It came with an extra set of limbs. I don't have a stringing aid. It is just a cock roping aid, UNLESS you are referring to that other string that is in the picture?

It looks like a UTG scope with red/green illumination. I am going to guess based on arrows, it looks like 20" arrows. How does one know which grain, etc.?

You have a Flemish string on it and what looks to be an extra Excalibur Flemish string. No Stringing aid. That should be #1 for you as you cannot adjust your brace height without one. I couldn't zoom in to see the arrows. If you can take a few more pics and post here we will be better able to help you figure everything out. I'd say you will be fine with what you have to go kill deer, but I'd upgrade arrows and BHs . Scope and trigger are for if you really get serious and want to get the most accuracy you can out of the bow and longer distances (+40yds). More for target than just deer hunting inside of 30yds.

Munch and Danny are two different people. Both great guys. Their top mounts differ some but both are high quality mounts. Mounting the quiver on top gets it out of the way when you use a sling to carry the bow. It will not interfere with scope, even though it may look like it. Congrats on a nice bow and welcome to the forum.
