Thought I would post a few pictures of my bear I killed on Halloween night on my farm. Shot him at 32 yds with my 380 and slick trick heads. I have several pictures of him on my deer cam through out the summer, He actually broke my apples tree's up pretty bad climbing after the apples ! On the evening of 10-31 about 5:30 I seen him cross the upper end of the soybean field I was hunting, As soon as he disappeared I reached over and got my predator call ( Fawn Distress ) and blew it 6/8 times and instantly He came back into the field looking down my way. After 10/15 seconds he started my direction. At 64 yds He stood up on his back legs trying to see better, I was ranging him as he closed the distance, At 32 yds he stopped still looking around for the fawn he had heard. I shot him center of the chest and watched him lumber off as fast as he cold. After a short tracking job I found him. I Was and still am extremely happy to kill my first bear and do it with my Excalibur. Sorry for the long post ! Don't forget to carry a predator call in your back pack ! You never know !!!
