thinking about a stock change

Post by ironeyes »

I have an EMag and was wondering if anyone had ever swapped the original stock with one from a Matrix. Is it even possible? Im on the shorter side and shortening the stock up would be nice. Any other ideas or advice is appreciated. Oh and I dont want to invest in another bow as I already have a 308 short. Im just looking to semi-custom my EMag. Thanks in advance.

Is the stock length the issue or the length of pull to cock it the issue ? I think Danny could cut your rail down if it is a cocking issue of course you loose speed.

a vixen ii stock would shorten things up. the only thing it may throw off the balance point. you could mount a forward hand grip though if you didnt like the long rail with the short shorter stock.

Dont want to shorten the rail or power stroke. Thanks guys, keep the info coming. It's just annoying having to bend over so far to cock the blasted thing.

Those stocks can be cut down. I’ve done several. They glue back easily and I haven’t had one try to come apart. Down side is it may affect being able to use a crank cocking aid..just s thought

A custom wood stock would be the ticket!! :)
