Bulldog 440

I am awaiting the release of the Bulldog 440 with great anticipation. Does anybody know when more information such as weight, width, length, bolt length etc. will be available?

I have two Bulldog 400 crossbows and like them very much except for the trigger. The long rough trigger pull leaves much room for improvement. Does anybody know if an effort was made to improve the trigger pull on the 440?

I am not a fan of the Assassin as it's just to busy for me so I am very pleased with the new Bulldog 440 and that Excalibur is maintaining a line of new crossbows which remain simple, straight foreword and free from unneeded complexity.

I agree with you. My BD400 trigger was quite good, but I replaced it with a 1.5# TT(used to be available). It is an excellent trigger. However, if I had it to do again, I’d just send it to Boo.

Does the bulldog 400 and the bulldog 380 have the same trigger
I have a bulldog m380 blackout and the trigger on mine is really good. I have a TT on my 350 but I’m not going to bother on my bulldog.

Yes they do. 440 on the other hand... Time will tell, but it doesn't look the same to me.
