HHA speed dial scope question

Post by snowhunter »

Hi, I have a speed dial and want to use a scope with one reticle. I think a Vortex Crossfire ll or a Leupold vx-r might work where I adjust the yardage using the speed dial. Any input is appreciated, thanks.

I don't quite understand your question. What exactly are you asking? I can tell you that if you have an ADF on your bow you'll need the extension brackets for the dial of your HHA or it won't fit on the bow. Other than that, you can mount any scope you want on your Optimizer.

Thanks, I have the extension on the speed dial. I want a scope where there is only one reticle and not have to deal with yardage lines inside the scope.

I have an HHA on both of my Excals, I run a Leupold Heavy Duplex Shotgun scope on mine and a Bushnell Banner Heavy Duplex Dawn and Dust scope on my wife's. Like mentioned earlier you can add any scope you want on the HHA's.

I think he was kind of saying that he did not want one of the ar or new scopes for caliber specific with hash Mark's for a gun.

I only have experience with the crossfire II from what you have listed but can tell you that it performs very well. It has good clear glass From edge to edge and the illumination goes from almost can’t see the dot to very bright with 11 different steps. I wish it was a little shorter but it works great when mounted on a HHA speed dial.

Hope this helps.
