The U.S. election was starting to look like a repeat of the 2000 vote, where results were dragged out for weeks. But the end came much sooner this time.

Democratic Sen. John Kerry ended the bitter contest by calling U.S. President George Bush at around 11 a.m. ET to concede the White House race, The Associated Press reported.

I'm a patriot, and I despair for our country when most its citizenry can't see the lies of this president and his adminitratrion, and elect him for another 4 years. Bush is threat to our national security, our environment and our civil rights.
