Review: Excalibur TACT 100 Scope

Post by XB I GO »

I really liked this scope. It is clear, small and bright. It did not seem heavy on the crossbow. I figured out how to use it in about 2 seconds of looking through the glass without instructions.

A lot of long range scopes have a lot of stuff going on in the lens. The TACT-100 was pretty simple and not crowded. There are dots with a number from 20-100 yards.

Illuminated Multi Reticle -Multi coated lenses- compact - Adjustable multiplex crosshair system that adjusts for precise 10 yard increments
Speed dial for velocities of 300 to 450 fps
MSRP $249

I really hope long range crossbow hunting doesn't become a "thing". I think if you practice at long range you will be confident at your normal ranges and maybe add 10 yards. Like C. J. from Excalibur told me, "You would still use it to hunt within sensible ranges".

Nice scope!

The most sensible reticle I have seen yet.

No lines just dots out to 100. For the average crossbow user this will be a hit!

Thanks for the review. I've been looking for a picture of the reticle since it hit the website and I haven't found one yet. It sounds very promising.
